Qualifications:

Owned by Person(s) of Color

Applying companies must be founded and led by a person(s) of color. This means applicants will be asked to verify that the company is at least 51% owned by Black, LatinX, Native American, Indian, Pacific Islander, Asians, or multi-racial entrepreneurs.

In Business at least 12 Months

Applicants must provide proof that they've been in business for a least 12 months.

Based in Arkansas

Applications will be accepted from companies based in Arkansas. Companies will need to provide proof of filing and/or residency within the state. Exceptions will be considered for companies doing business in Arkansas.

Revenue Generating

Companies will be required to submit a 2018 or 2019 Tax Return to show proof of revenue. The BIG Pitch was built to support the growth and sustainability for companies in the market.

3 Categories,

3 Winners

15 selected companies will virtually pitch for prizes on Thursday, June 4th. Awards are organized based on the annual recurring revenue of each company. Five companies will compete in each category. Contestants will have three minutes to pitch. Special guest judges will select the winner from each category. Companies may only compete in one category.

Category 1: $5,000 Cash Prize

For Sole Proprietors and Small Businesses

$1 - $25,000 in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)

Category 2: $10,000 Cash Prize

For Small Businesses

$25,001 - $50,000 in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)

Category 3: $15,000 Cash Prize

For Small - Midsize Businesses

$50k+ Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)
